Experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) believe that it is not impossible to prevent a new epidemic for Ebola, if they take more effective measures to fight this infectious disease.
Among the most important “weapons” against Ebola are the vaccine and the new protocol for rapid reaction of the health services.
Ebola epidemic began in December 2013 and took 11,300 lives of people in three West African countries.
WHO has come under criticism for the slow reaction and underestimating the risk of spreading the epidemic.
Ebola virus was identified in 1976 and the previous outbreaks took several hundred lives.
